Home Birth Intervened by Nursing Professionals with Humanized Approach
ABSTRACT
The object of the present work is the analysis of the factors involved in carrying out a home birth assisted
by nursing professionals with a humanized approach, for which a computational analysis of articles
reviewed in some data sources such as They are the Secretary of Health, the National Institute of
Statistics, Geography and Informatics (INEGI), in certain metasearch engines such as: Redalyc, Google
academic, Scielo, PubMed and Dialnet, the search was carried out with the following keywords:
childbirth, childbirth at home, humanized birth, labor, nurse-assisted birth and humanized home birth.
Thus obtaining that childbirth has been contemplated since very ancient times, however the fact that
there was no medical and hospital access led to the creation of empirical midwives who attended these
births, however, the deficiency of knowledge constantly caused loss of life. In addition, a home birth
was previously seen as natural, however this does not mean that it was attended with adequate care, it
was an option that was taken because it was the only way that existed within communities that did not
have health services. In hospitals, thanks to scientific and technological advances, little by little,
importance was gained in this area of gynecology-obstetrics, reducing the rate of maternal-fetal deaths,
achieving progress in reproductive health. On the other hand, in-hospital care was aimed at providing
optimal and quality services to the pregnant woman, however this implied the dehumidified treatment
that the health professional began to have towards the women, which affected the humanitarian part.
and the desire not to carry out the birth in a hospital environment because the rights and privacy of the
pregnant women were affected by this behavior, since the fact of giving birth in this environment began
to lead them to a level of stress that even in normal circumstances After a healthy pregnancy, they were
taken to an instrumented birth, losing focus as a completely natural act, turning it into a process that
even triggered the procedure of cesarean sections, medicating and intervening in a routine and not
exactly necessary way. Likewise, it is concluded that a home birth assisted by nursing professionals is
always planned with a specific criterion (pregnancies categorized as low risk). The best option would
be to choose to give birth at home in the company of your loved ones, in a quiet environment. , optimal,
adequate, with free expression, freedom of movement and unrestricted intake, with support techniques
to facilitate and improve labor such as therapeutic massages, music therapy to relax the woman,
exercises and postures that trigger a successful birth, leading them to experiencing a humanized birth,
that is, with dignified and respectful treatment for the woman, newborn and family, positioning her as
the protagonist of her own birth at home. Caring for and persevering women's rights, providing trust,
security and professional support.
