Neurociencia de las Emociones: Revisión Actualizada
Resumen
Las emociones constituyen un elemento esencial de la existencia humana; sin embargo, su estudio científico ha sido controversial, existiendo diversas conceptualizaciones. El presente trabajo muestra un recorrido conceptual acerca de estas diferentes perspectivas. Se desarrollan las posturas teóricas y las evidencias empíricas obtenidas desde el origen mismo del estudio de las emociones, conformando lo que hoy se conoce como la teoría clásica (ya sea tanto desde las posturas biologicistas como desde las cognitivistas), para luego describir los postulados recientes correspondientes a las teorías contemporáneas de las emociones que abarcan tanto las perspectivas socioculturales como las constructivistas. A pesar de las enormes inversiones en investigación, las emociones siguen siendo aún hoy enigmáticas para la ciencia, por lo que es de suma importancia profundizar en su conocimiento.
