Enfoques Diagnósticos no Invasivos en el Síndrome Compartimental Revisión de la Literatura

Resumen

El síndrome compartimental es considerado como una emergencia quirúrgica ortopédica resultante de una lesión física se produce existe un aumento de presión excesiva dentro de un compartimento muscular llevando a un cuadro de isquemia el cual si es prolongado se convierte en irreversible. La medición directa de la presión compartimental sigue siendo crucial. No está establecido un diagnóstico cien por ciento certero para esta patología debido a esto se estudia espectroscopia de infrarrojo cercana y los métodos de ultrasonido, como la elastografía por deformación y el bucle de bloqueo de fase pulsado. La mayoría de los casos diagnosticados con este síndrome se presentan en las extremidades las cuales son sometidas al procedimiento de la fasciotomía, un método que se lleva a cabo para descomprimir el miembro afectado, normalizar la presión intercompartimental y reducir la disfunción neuromuscular.
