Neuroeducación y Ciencias de la Salud: Aportaciones al Mejoramiento de la Calidad de Vida en Pacientes Diabéticos

Resumen

La diabetes es uno de los problemas de salud pública que más problemas conlleva en la actualidad en todo el mundo, pues las cifras señalan que ya hay casi 500 millones de personas con esta afectación, lo que es más notorio en naciones en vías de desarrollo y que es muy fuerte en las naciones de Hispanoamérica y África, por lo que se requieren acercamientos distintos al íntegramente médico para abordar este delicado tópico de salud. Este estudio de revisión tuvo como objetivo, la construcción de una matriz de investigaciones con el fin de decantarlo a un reducido cuerpo teórico para la elaboración de este manuscrito. Se concluye que, las poblaciones con diagnóstico de diabetes, especialmente las poblaciones juveniles y adolescentes, deben ser intervenidas a partir de las ciencias del comportamiento, las ciencias de la salud, las ciencias cognitivas y la neuroeducación para conseguir diseñar programas de prevención y promoción para mitigar los problemas psicológicos que trae la diabetes para las personas afectadas y sus redes de apoyo.
