Rol del Profesional de Enfermería Comunitaria en la Atención del Adulto Mayor
Resumen
El presente estudio realiza un análisis sobre la influencia del papel de la enfermera comunitaria en la prestación de cuidados a los adultos mayores, haciendo hincapié en la mejora de la calidad de vida y el bienestar general a nivel comunitario. Empleando una metodología cuantitativa, se evaluaron meticulosamente las percepciones de 110 adultos mayores con respecto a la calidad de la atención recibida. Los hallazgos revelaron que el 48,18% de los participantes clasificó la atención como «buena» y el 30% como «muy buena», lo que subraya el respeto y la empatía mostrados por el personal. Sin embargo, el 19,09% calificó la atención como «regular». Además, el 51,82% calificó el trato de «respetuoso», mientras que el 31,82% lo calificó de «muy respetuoso». Se identificaron los desafíos relacionados con la accesibilidad y la disponibilidad de los recursos, lo que indicó las posibles áreas de mejora en los servicios prestados. Los resultados subrayan la necesidad de fortalecer los modelos de atención comunitaria y mejorar la capacitación de los profesionales para garantizar una atención integral y personalizada, facilitando así un envejecimiento saludable.
