Rehabilitación Cardiovascular Basada en Equinoterapia, Arteterapia y Contacto con la Naturaleza: Revisión de Literatura
Resumen
Las enfermedades cardiovasculares son la principal causa de mortalidad en todo el mundo, lo que evidencia la necesidad de explorar tratamientos innovadores que evalúen la eficacia y uso potencial, como complemento a los enfoques tradicionales de rehabilitación integral en diferentes patologías. El objetivo es revisar sistemáticamente la literatura científica sobre los avances que ha tenido la aplicación de técnicas de equino terapia, arteterapia y contacto con la naturaleza en condiciones cardiovasculares en seres humanos. La metodología consiste en un procedimiento de búsqueda documental en la base de datos de PubMed, Scopus y Web of Science, aplicando tres ecuaciones separadas con criterios de inclusión y exclusión para asegurar la relevancia y pertinencia de los referentes para el campo de la cardiología. Los resultados confirman que la literatura científica de estas técnicas en el manejo de enfermedades cardiovasculares aún es escaza, pero la mayoría de estudios coinciden en el potencial terapéutico que ofrecen estas intervenciones en la regulación de la frecuencia cardíaca, presión arterial, capacidad cardiorrespiratoria, demanda de oxígeno y bienestar emocional. Se requieren más protocolos e investigaciones experimentales, aleatorias y longitudinales que validen la efectividad de intervenciones en patologías específicas relacionadas con el corazón.
