Efectos de intervención mindfulness sobre estrés, regulación emocional y alimentación intuitiva en adolescentes: estudio piloto
Resumen
La conducta alimentaria problemática, como la alimentación desordenada es un tipo de alimentación que ha sido ampliamente estudiado, ya que genera patologías de salud física y mental. El mindfulness es una alternativa de tratamiento que disminuye las causas de la alimentación desordenada y favorece un estado de percepción del cuerpo. La alimentación intuitiva es un concepto que entrena a las personas a comer saludablemente, basándose en las señales internas del cuerpo, lo que ha demostrado efectividad preventiva y en tratamientos. Por ello el objetivo de este estudio fue pilotear un programa preventivo de alimentación intuitiva y mindfulness en adolescentes mexicanos inscritos en nivel medio superior. (n = 23; m = 15.6 años; DE = .573). Se trata de un diseño cuasiexperimental, con una muestra no probabilística por conveniencia. Los participantes fueron evaluados para alimentación intuitiva, estrés percibido y regulación emocional. Los resultados muestran efectos positivos del programa de mindfulness sobre las habilidades para la regulación emocional y sobre la alimentación intuitiva.
