Realidad Virtual Inmersiva Para La Educación
Resumen
El presente artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto y las aplicaciones de la Realidad Virtual Inmersiva (RVI) en el ámbito Educativo, evaluando sus beneficios, desafíos y perspectivas futuras. Para ello, se empleó la metodología PRISMA, que permitió una selección rigurosa y sistemática de estudios científicos publicados entre 2015 y 2025, con un enfoque en investigaciones que abordan la integración de RVI en diferentes niveles educativos. La revisión contempló aspectos pedagógicos, tecnológicos, motivacionales y de accesibilidad, agrupados en categorías analíticas para facilitar el análisis. Los resultados evidencian que la RVI favorece la comprensión de contenidos complejos mediante experiencias inmersivas y multisensoriales, incrementando la motivación, el compromiso y la participación activa de los estudiantes. Asimismo, se destacan sus contribuciones al desarrollo de habilidades del siglo XXI, como el pensamiento crítico y la colaboración. No obstante, la efectividad de la RVI depende del diseño pedagógico, la capacitación docente y la infraestructura tecnológica, enfrentando además retos relacionados con costos, accesibilidad y posibles efectos adversos en la salud. Finalmente, se concluye que la RVI representa una herramienta educativa prometedora que, bien implementada, puede transformar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, demandando políticas integrales y más investigación para su óptima integración.
