Aspectos Escatológicos del Motivo de la Lluvia Tardía en los Profetas Menores: Un Análisis Bíblico Teológico
Resumen
La erudición bíblica contemporánea suele abordar el motivo de la “lluvia tardía” en los profetas menores sobre todo desde claves agrícolas y del pacto, dejando en segundo plano su alcance escatológico. Este trabajo buscar explorar esa dimensión al estudiar Oseas 6:3, Joel 2:23 y Zacarías 10:1 desde un enfoque bíblico-teológico. La metodología se despliega en cuatro niveles: análisis textual, literario, lingüístico y teológico. Los hallazgos muestran que la distinción semántica entre los términos para “lluvia” (māṭār, gešem, malqôš, yôreh) no se agota en lo meteorológico, sino que constituye una taxonomía con sentido teológico. La perspectiva escatológica aparece a través de la imaginería del “día de YHWH” sugerida por las metáforas de luz y lluvia, y abre paso a una lectura tipológica: la lluvia tardía que cierra el ciclo agrícola palestino funciona como figura del “poder de lo alto” que llevará a término la misión evangelizadora en el mundo y preparará la parusía de Cristo. En síntesis, el motivo de la lluvia tardía opera como un eje teológico que articula las promesas de restauración material con su cumplimiento espiritual definitivo dentro de la historia de la salvación.
