Comportamiento obsesivo compulsivo y su relación con la ansiedad en el personal militar
Resumen
El comportamiento obsesivo compulsivo y la ansiedad puede repercutir de manera negativa en la salud mental de los militares. El objetivo general de esta investigación fue analizar la relación entre el nivel del comportamiento obsesivo compulsivo y el nivel de ansiedad en el personal militar. La metodología implementada en este estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo correlacional, diseño no experimental, de corte transversal ,modalidad bibliográfica aplicada a una población de 152 militares en edades comprendidas entre 21 a 62 años seleccionados por muestreo de bola de nieve por conveniencia de los cuales el 70% se encontró en servicio activo y el 30% en servicio pasivo. Se aplicó el Inventario de Obsesiones y Compulsiones Revisado (OCI-R) y la escala de ansiedad de Hamilton. Los resultados determinaron significancia de correlación (Rho=0.721p<0.001) entre el comportamiento obsesivo compulsivo y ansiedad. Se determinaron niveles altos y promedios de comportamiento obsesivo compulsivo y ansiedad en el personal militar del servicio activo y pasivo que conformó el presente estudio.
