¿Setenta o Setenta y Dos?: Una Nota Crítico-Textual a Lucas 10: 1
Resumen
El presente estudio aborda el problema crítico-textual de Lucas 10:1, particularmente la contradicción entre las lecturas "setenta" y "setenta y dos" discípulos enviados por Jesús. Esta variación, ampliamente documentada en la tradición de manuscritos, genera preguntas acerca de la transmisión del texto bíblico y de sus posibles implicaciones simbólicas y teológicas. El objetivo de la investigación es analizar la evidencia interna —la tradición judía, el simbolismo y el contexto bíblico— y la externa —versiones, manuscritos y citas patrísticas— para establecer qué lectura es más plausible desde una perspectiva de crítica textual. Metodológicamente, se lleva a cabo un análisis comparativo de las fuentes textuales más relevantes y se aplican criterios tradicionales como el lectio brevior y el lectio difficilior. Los hallazgos sugieren que, aunque la evidencia está equilibrada y no permite arribar a una conclusión definitiva, la lectura "setenta y dos" presenta una ligera ventaja en términos de probabilidad interna y transcripcional. No obstante, se concluye que, dentro del simbolismo bíblico, ambos números son funcionalmente intercambiables, lo cual atenúa el efecto interpretativo de la variante. Se recomienda, por tanto, que las traducciones conserven la ambigüedad del texto a fin de reflejar adecuadamente la complejidad del testimonio manuscrito.
