Estrategias de Enseñanza del Idioma Inglés para Estudiantes con Trastorno del Espectro Autista

Resumen

Debido al aumento de conciencia que se presenta en la población con respecto al trastorno del espectro autista en las aulas de enseñanza, el objetivo del trabajo es presentar un protocolo de investigación para identificar las estrategias de enseñanza de inglés con niños autistas que utilizan los profesores y el conocimiento sobre el espectro autista.  Se propone la utilización de dos instrumentos de medición; un esquema de observación COLT y un cuestionario para los profesores sobre su conocimiento referente al tema. El instrumento consta de ocho dimensiones con sus respectivas subcategorías incluyendo las estrategias específicas para analizar, y 27 preguntas en el cuestionario distribuidas en 5 secciones que van desde el contexto físico de los alumnos hasta la percepción y conocimiento del maestro sobre el tema. La investigación se llevará a cabo en un colegio bilingüe privado en la ciudad de Villahermosa, Tabasco, donde hay estudiantes con espectro autista de nivel primaria. Con la aplicación de estos instrumentos se espera conocer las necesidades de los profesores sobre las estrategias necesarias para la enseñanza del inglés a esta población.
