Criterios Clínicos para Delimitar el Rango Seguro de Movilización en Parálisis Cerebral Espástica

Resumen

Introducción: La parálisis cerebral espástica se asocia con alteraciones del tono muscular que dificultan la delimitación segura del rango de movilización pasiva. Objetivo: Explorar la relación entre criterios clínicos y la delimitación segura del rango de movilización articular. Métodos: Estudio cuantitativo, observacional, correlacional y transversal en 14 pacientes. Se evaluó la espasticidad mediante la escala MAS, el dolor con r-FLACC y el end feel durante movilización pasiva. Resultados: A mayor espasticidad, se observó aparición más temprana de dolor y menor tolerancia al movimiento. Los pacientes MAS 3–4 alcanzaron el punto de corte de dolor antes del rango fisiológico. Conclusión: La integración de espasticidad, dolor y end feel permite delimitar de forma más objetiva y segura el rango de movilización.
