Riesgo potencial de cierre en micro y pequeñas empresas: estudio de caso Manizales, Colombia
Resumen
Es importante identificar y analizar los factores que inciden en el cierre de las micro y pequeñas empresas, en virtud de que son elementales para la economía pero tienen una alta tasa de mortalidad. Con base en eso este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el riesgo potencial de cierre de doce micro y pequeñas empresas de Manizales, Colombia, a partir de dos dimensiones: el fracaso empresarial, el cual se midió a través de las variables de desempeño y satisfacción del empresario y, de las capacidades de gestión, que engloba variables como la cultura financiera, experiencia en gestión, planeación estratégica, innovación y el acceso al financiamiento. El tipo de estudio fue cuantitativo, exploratorio, de corte transversal y descriptivo. Los resultados sugieren que el riesgo de cierre no es exclusivo del desempeño, sino de la ausencia de capacidades que los empresarios deben tener para mantener la supervivencia de su negocio.
