Importancia del manejo multidisciplinario en el paciente con cáncer de tiroides diferenciado
Resumen
El cáncer de tiroides diferenciado (DTC) es un tipo de cáncer que afecta a la glándula tiroides y cuya prevalencia ha aumentado en los últimos años. El objetivo del presente trabajo es dar a conocer la importancia del enfoque terapéutico multidisciplinario en la resolución clínica de los pacientes con esta patología. La investigación es de tipo cualitativa-descriptiva, donde se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de artículos científicos en bases de datos de importancia médica. Los resultados indican que, aunque el DTC es diverso, en general tienen buen pronóstico y la mayoría de los pacientes con este tipo de cáncer pueden tratarse de manera multidisciplinar lo cual es eficaz. Cada especialista del equipo multidisciplinario aporta su experiencia y conocimiento para brindar un enfoque integral al tratamiento del cáncer de tiroides. Al trabajar juntos, el equipo puede garantizar que el paciente reciba la mejor atención posible, desde el diagnóstico hasta el control y la vigilancia continuos.
