Pielonefritis Enfisematosa: Reporte de Caso y Revisión
Resumen
La pielonefritis enfisematosa es una infección grave del parénquima renal y sus tejidos circundantes que produce la presencia de gas en el parénquima renal, el sistema colector o el tejido perinefrítico, siendo el patógeno causal mas común Escherichia coli, el cual representa el 70-75% de los casos. El 95% de los casos tienen Diabetes Mellitus no controlada. Es mas frecuente en mujeres que en hombres, con una relación de 6:1 y La edad media de presentación es de 55 años. No existe un estudio epidemiológico que nos oriente a la prevalencia de la enfermedad, dado que es una entidad poco común. El objetivo del presente trabajo es el reporte y analizar el abordaje diagnostico y tratamiento.
