Relación de la Depresión, Ansiedad y Estrés Académico con el Consumo de Tabaco y Alcohol en Estudiantes de Medicina: Revisión Sistemática
Resumen
El alcohol y el tabaco son drogas legales, de consumo recreativo, que están al alcance de toda la población mayor de edad. La literatura refiere que los estudiantes de medicina no están libres de su consumo, y ha sido tema de investigación para los autores. El objetivo de la presente revisión sistemática fue identificar las investigaciones originales y publicadas en los últimos cinco años, sobre la relación de la depresión, ansiedad y estrés académico con el consumo de tabaco y alcohol en estudiantes de medicina, con la finalidad de conocer cuáles son las medidas e instrumentos que han utilizado para medir estas variables. La búsqueda se realizó solo en la base de datos de PubMed para evitar registros duplicados. Para evaluar su calidad metodológica, la extracción de la información fue bajo los lineamientos de la declaración PRISMA. Se incluyeron ocho artículos en esta revisión. El país con mayores publicaciones fue Francia. La medida utilizada para obtener los datos en las investigaciones fue el autoinforme. El instrumento que coincide al menos en cuatro investigaciones es el AUDIT. En todos los artículos se reportó consumo de alcohol y tabaco. Aunque la información es importante, se han realizado asociaciones con diferentes variables a parte de las de interés.
