Inorganic waste valorization plan in a municipality of Lima-Peru

Keywords: inorganic solid waste, segregation and municipal management

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to propose a proposal to guide a municipality of metropolitan Lima to a better management of inorganic solid waste and to reuse it so that citizen awareness can be generated. Tons of waste end up daily in sanitary landfills, which causes their capacity to run out, the factors that make this environmental problem become more difficult every day are inefficient environmental management and the lack of environmental awareness of the inhabitants, whose only interest is to disappear waste without taking into account recycling.

Various analysis approaches of the selected articles are considered that allow us to recognize important elements of solid waste management, recycling and municipal management. The indexed academic articles were obtained through the systematic review of the Scopus, Scielo and Ebsco portals. The articles chosen from the various journals have gone through an exclusion stage for this research analysis with a time interval from 2017 to 2021, therefore, as a final result, 16 articles were reviewed in analysis tables where the more relevant information to investigate which complements the development of our discussions and conclusions
