Fisiopatología, Diagnóstico y Manejo del Vitíligo. Revisión de la Literatura
Resumen
El vitíligo es una enfermedad dermatológica multifactorial de carácter autoinmune, compleja en la que intervienen procesos autoinmunes, estrés oxidativo, factores genéticos y ambientales. Por lo que cobra importancia el correcto y precoz diagnóstico utilizando los criterios clínicos y herramientas de evaluación de la gravedad y la actividad de la enfermedad. Actualmente existen varias líneas de tratamientos disponibles desde las opciones tópicas hasta la cirugia. Muchas de las veces de forma equivocada no se estiman conveniente realizar un enfoque integral y personalizado del paciente y de su enfermedad, sin embargo, en esta patología en la que existe evidencia de una disminución de la calidad de vida debido a causas psicológicas siempre es importante un análisis completo con todas las especialidades necesarias para restablecer la salud.
