Hacia una Economía Circular: Una Revisión Sistémica de la Implementación de Green Lean Six Sigma en la Industria Manufacturera

Resumen

Este artículo realiza una revisión sistemática sobre la implementación de Green Lean Six Sigma (GLSS) en el contexto de la manufactura, destacando su potencial para contribuir a la economía circular mediante las 3R: reducir, reutilizar y reciclar. A pesar de su reconocida efectividad en la industria manufacturera, los profesionales siguen siendo cautelosos debido a la falta de conocimiento y cultura sobre el tema. El estudio resalta que la integración de Lean y Six Sigma con enfoques ecológicos puede mejorar la sostenibilidad de los procesos industriales. Sin embargo, se identifican limitaciones en su implementación, como la falta de un enfoque orientado a proyectos y herramientas matemáticas para el control de procesos. La investigación sugiere que GLSS puede superar estos desafíos y mejorar el rendimiento ambiental y económico de las empresas. Además, el estudio destaca la creciente tendencia global hacia la investigación en GLSS, especialmente en la era de la Industria 4.0, aunque aún falta un modelo conceptual comúnmente aceptado. Finalmente, se subraya la necesidad de más estudios empíricos y la identificación de los factores habilitadores para la implementación efectiva de GLSS en el contexto mexicano.
