Nivel académico de bachillerato como sustento cognitivo para el desempeño del aprendizaje en el nivel superior: caso escuela de educación física y deportes Mazatlán
Resumen
Este estudio examinó la relación entre el rendimiento académico en el bachillerato y el desempeño durante el primer Trimestre de la licenciatura en Educación Física en la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa, Mazatlán. Se analizaron calificaciones en asignaturas clave del bachillerato como educación física y biología y su correlación con materias fundamentales universitarias. Utilizando el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson y un modelo de regresión lineal simple, se encontró una correlación positiva y significativa entre el promedio del bachillerato y el promedio parcial universitario (r = 0.256, p = 0.018). La muestra incluyó 68 estudiantes de la generación 2024-2025, clasificados según el tipo de bachillerato de procedencia. Los resultados sugieren que el rendimiento académico previo es un predictor relevante del éxito en la educación superior, destacando la necesidad de implementar tutorías y programas de apoyo para estudiantes con dificultades, mejorando así la retención y el éxito académico en contextos de formación física.
