Impacto de la Intervención de los Equipos de Salud en los Trastornos Mentales Asociados a Enfermedades Infecciosas: Revisión Sistemática
Resumen
Objetivo: Analizar la evidencia científica disponible sobre el impacto de la intervención de los equipos de salud, mediante estrategias de prevención y promoción de la salud, en los trastornos mentales asociados a enfermedades infecciosas. Método: Se efectuó una revisión sistemática de la bibliografía con enfoque cualitativo dirigido por los lineamientos PRIMSA 2020 para la búsqueda de información en la base de datos PubMed que incluyó 12 estudios publicados entre los años 2015 y 2025 después de la aplicación de criterios de inclusión y exclusión predefinidos. La calidad metodológica fue evaluada mediante las herramientas de JBI Resultados: Se identificó que las intervenciones psicosociales desarrolladas por el personal sanitario están vinculadas a mejoras sustanciales en la salud mental de los pacientes con enfermedades infecciosas en cuanto a la disminución de síntomas de depresión, distrés y ansiedad con estrategias de prevención y promoción de salud apoyadas en tecnologías digitales, apoyo entre pares y modelos de delegación de funciones. Conclusiones: La intervención integral del equipo de salud se concibe como pieza esencial en el abordaje de los trastornos mentales relacionados a enfermedades infecciosas destacando la urgencia de implementar el campo de la salud mental de forma estructurada y complementaria en los sistemas de salud.
