El pitcheo profesional como sistema técnico-operativo de alto rendimiento
Resumen
El desarrollo de lanzadores ha sido abordado con frecuencia desde perspectivas parciales centradas en biomecánica, preparación física, prevención de lesiones o rendimiento competitivo. Sin embargo, en la práctica del entrenamiento especializado, estas dimensiones interactúan como componentes de un sistema técnico-operativo integrado. El objetivo de este artículo es proponer un modelo conceptual para comprender el pitcheo profesional como un sistema de alto rendimiento aplicable al desarrollo de lanzadores contemporáneos. Se realizó una investigación cualitativa de tipo documental, analítico-conceptual y de orientación aplicada, mediante revisión de literatura científica sobre biomecánica del lanzamiento, cadena cinética, riesgo lesional, comando y sostenibilidad funcional del pitcher. Como resultado, se formula el Modelo SITAR, integrado por cinco dimensiones: secuencia cinética integrada, integridad técnico-mecánica, trazabilidad del comando, adaptación competitiva y resiliencia funcional. El modelo permite interpretar el pitcheo como una estructura sistémica en la que la eficiencia del movimiento, la repetibilidad mecánica, la respuesta competitiva y la preservación del brazo se articulan para producir rendimiento sostenible. Se concluye que esta lectura amplía la comprensión del pitcheo, fortalece la evaluación técnica del lanzador y ofrece una base útil para procesos de corrección mecánica, prevención de lesión y formación especializada.
