Liposucción Facial: ¿Láser Diodo vs. Ultrasonido vs. Radiofrecuencia?

Resumen

Se realizó una revisión sistemática de las publicaciones de las bases de datos Sciencedirect, Wiley online, Pubmed y Springerlink, que fueron publicados en los últimos 15 años. Dos revisores independientes tamizaron las publicaciones para incluir aquellas que mostraran evidencia clínica de la utilidad de la liposucción facial asistida por láser diodo, ultrasonido, radiofrecuencia. Se incluyeron 10 estudios que cumplieron con los criterios de selección. Se registraron el autor, año de publicación, tamaño de la población, energía entregada y resultados. Como resultados se halló que todos los estudios incluidos reportan mejoras significativas con el uso de liposucción asistida por radiofrecuencia variando del 15% al 48% de satisfacción significativa; sin embargo, la liposucción asistida por láser mostró un desempeño sobresaliente en la mayoría de estudios, con una potencia aplicada que varió ampliamente entre 400 joules a 6.6 kJ. Se concluye que la liposucción asistida por láser mostró mejoras incluso hasta del 80%.
