Cerebro - Suelo: Estrategias para Prevenir Caídas en Adultos Mayores con Enfermedades Neurológicas, Rol de Enfermería
Resumen
Las caídas en los adultos mayores representan un problema de salud pública global, siendo la principal causa de morbilidad y discapacidad física. La presencia de enfermedades neurológicas, como la enfermedad de Parkinson, el ictus, la epilepsia y demencia, incrementa exponencialmente este riesgo debido a la alteración del control motor y cognitivo, desafiando la capacidad de respuesta de los sistemas sanitarios, por lo tanto el Objetivo es Analizar la evidencia científica actual sobre las estrategias para la prevención de caídas en los adultos mayores con patologías neurológicas, destacando el rol fundamental del personal de enfermería en la detección de riesgos y ejecución de cuidados, donde se utilizó la siguiente Metodología realizando una revisión bibliográfica descriptiva, aquí se analizaron 30 artículos científicos, dando como resultados que las intervenciones aisladas son insuficientes; el abordaje multifactorial que combina ejercicio multimodal (fuerza - equilibrio), adaptación del entorno y revisión farmacológica es el más eficaz, por lo tanto el personal de enfermería es determinante en la vigilancia continua, la educación sobre el "miedo a caer" y la implementación de tecnologías de monitoreo, obteniendo así las siguiente conclusión la prevención exige un enfoque proactivo y personalizado. donde la integración del personal de enfermería en el equipo multidisciplinario es una estrategia insustituible para garantizar la seguridad del paciente y reducir la incidencia de eventos adversos.
