Evaluación del Proyecto UTMACH En Mi Barrio: Vinculación Social, Liderazgo y Tejido Comunitario, Machala, Ecuador
Resumen
El presente artículo presenta una evaluación ex post del proyecto “UTMACH en mi barrio”, desarrollado entre 2023 y 2025 en sectores urbanos vulnerables de la parroquia Jambelí, Machala. El objetivo fue valorar sus resultados percibidos en vinculación social, participación comunitaria, liderazgo, articulación universidad-comunidad y fortalecimiento de los vínculos vecinales. Se realizó un estudio de caso con enfoque mixto, alcance descriptivo-analítico y diseño no experimental. Se aplicaron 169 encuestas, seleccionadas mediante muestreo aleatorio simple de un universo de 1200 beneficiarios, y 14 entrevistas semiestructuradas: tres a dirigentes barriales y 11 a docentes de las carreras participantes. Los resultados muestran valoraciones favorables en las dimensiones examinadas, especialmente en liderazgo, capacidad de gestión, participación, confianza institucional y relaciones comunitarias. La triangulación realizada identificó como fortalezas la capacidad de convocatoria de los dirigentes, el acercamiento entre universidad y territorio, la participación de la comunidad y el aporte interdisciplinario de las carreras. Asimismo, permitió reconocer oportunidades de mejora vinculadas con la organización de los horarios, la continuidad de las acciones, el seguimiento de los procesos y la coordinación interinstitucional. En síntesis, la intervención fue pertinente y contribuyó al fortalecimiento de las capacidades organizativas, la cooperación comunitaria y la articulación territorial de la universidad pública.
