Influencia del Clima Organizacional en la Productividad Laboral: Un Estudio de Caso en la Manufactura de Plásticos

Resumen

El presente estudio analizó la influencia del clima organizacional en el desempeño laboral en una Pequeña y Mediana Empresa (PYME) manufacturera de plásticos en México. Ante un contexto de alta rotación y disminución operativa, se aplicó un diseño cuantitativo, no experimental y transversal. Mediante un censo (n = 11) del personal operativo, se administró un cuestionario de 35 ítems (Alfa de Cronbach = 0.826). Para garantizar el rigor metodológico en una muestra pequeña con escala ordinal, se empleó estadística no paramétrica. La prueba de Shapiro-Wilk confirmó la no normalidad en dimensiones clave (p < 0.05). El análisis de correlación de Spearman con Intervalos de Confianza (IC) al 95% demostró asociaciones positivas y significativas entre la Productividad y el Sentido de pertenencia (rho = 0.845, p = 0.001), la Comunicación (rho = 0.755, p = 0.007), la Motivación (rho = 0.708, p = 0.015) y las Condiciones físicas (rho = 0.669, p = 0.024). Aunque descriptivamente el turno nocturno presentó un desempeño inferior, las pruebas de Kruskal-Wallis (H = 0.786, p = 0.675) y Mann-Whitney (U = 9.50, p = 0.555) indicaron que dicha diferencia no es estadísticamente significativa. Se concluye que el clima organizacional es un predictor robusto de la eficiencia productiva, recomendando intervenciones en comunicación y factores higiénicos para retener el talento.
